Tall Ships Falmouth - Our day at the Parade of Sail

We left home at 8am and were pleased to be on the front row again at Rosemullion Head. Jim took the dogs for a walk whilst I unloaded the car and set about cooking some bacon for lovely bacon rolls for breakfast. After that lined up our chairs and had a coffee and waited !
In the distance we saw  this cruise ship coming out past Pendennis Point and we assumed it was Saga Sapphire - later we discovered it was in fact MV Funchal on its way to Lisbon
Wooster looking thoughtful - probably realising that this wasn't going to be "his kind of day"
Just look at the people on the top, out on Pendennis Point and along the road

  1. What an amazing sight. We were sat at a wet Pendennis point the Sunday before watching the rain as we sat in the car eating lunch. I'd have rather have been down there yesterday.

    1. It was well worth the early start, such a wonderful sight - feel rather pleased that I've managed to see it twice. There were one or two of the very big ships missing from the expected lineup, but it was still a superb sight. Sue
