This Oystercatcher seemed to be enjoying this area, but I have to say I wasn't
I can't believe that St Aubyns hadn't removed all the seaweed that washed up here in the Winter and the sand has built up a little on top - but when you walk on it - it squelches & stinks.
We climbed the steps from the beach and took a photo of a view I often take in Winter
We'd heard the sirens and found the Fire Crew just finishing up - couldn't see that anything major had happened
We then walked up the long hill out of Marazion and by the time we were just out beyond the Cemetery people were having to paddle across The Causeway.
We then went down the hill to the lower coastal footpath as we had decided to end the walk with a cup of tea at The Cabin
Lovely blue sea in this afternoon shot from Maen-du Point - It's usually an evening shot of course
Quite a few people enjoying the beach - while it was still there - as the tide was advancing fast.
