We walked down the steep more direct path towards the coast path - when we were younger it was quite a good path, but after so much rain etc. it was really bad - in places only space for one foot in front of the other and another part was really deep like a mini gorge !
At the bottom of the path the last section was slippery old mine waste and quite steep - needless to say on our return we walked the long way round on the gentler path.
Down below us is the wonderful Kenneggy Beach - where we spent many happy hours with our first dog William the Dalmation
As with all the beaches it is not looking its best, but it's such a shame that it has become inaccessable other than by scrambling over the rocks from Coules Cove next to Porth en Alls House (towards the top of the photo)
