Afternoon walkies

By the time we took the dogs out this afternoon  Coastview had lintels
 Looking very threatening
Wolf Rock Lighthouse showing clearly in the lighter patch of sky

Well the sun must have been there somewhere
A huge shower cloud about to cover the brightness
We could see it was going to be touch and go whether we got home in the dry
It was moving towards us really fast
So strange to see this Hottentot Fig flowering on such a cold and wintery day

  2. I'd seen Hottentot figs here in Cornwall but not as many as there are over on Scilly - and of course ours all came from Scilly !
We haven't got any bulbs out at all in the garden - think they're all too deep in the ground - only just showing leaves.
Wind gusting just below 60mph at the moment and it's been raining since 3.30pm - wind is supposed to get even worse between 9pm & midnight. No dog walk this afternoon - but extra treats for the dogs instead ! Hope the weather isn't too bad when it reaches you. Sue
