Friday - I think !

These Bank Holidays are really confusing my normal routines and it's quite good to get back to normal, with Jim off to do the shopping and me walking the dogs this morning
It was a glorious morning and the wind had dropped - so the surfers had been down in the water since first light
Nice to see people sitting outside as well as in at The Cabin as I picked up my capuccino and  headed down to get some shots of the surfers
The tide was racing in - which was a pity as it was a great Winters day to be on the beach
It was really quite crowded out there

But care and good manners were the order of the day

When I saw these two Newfoundlands arrive I was hoping they would plunge in and try to rescue the surfers
But they didn't look as keen as I expected - in fact one ran straight out again !
Time to head for home !

  1. My son in law thought the waves looked quite decent, and was a bit jealous as he didn't get in as much surfing as he wanted while visiting from New York.
I hope your voice comes back soon.
