All lovely photo's.....thanks to Dave for taking over the helm ! poor old Jim...we sympathise wholeheartedly neither of us are able to cope with heights ! Lovely view of 'The Mount' we were only saying we prefer your 'Mount' to the one in France ! thanks Sue macca
ReplyDeleteWasn't the height, but the very very narrow winding staircase - with shoulders touching both sides - he joined the cross "catching" group to wait for it to decend.
ReplyDeleteOur Castle has so much more character as it is from several eras - the French one is a bit "fancy" ! Sue
Had problems leaving a comment this week - need a three year old to help me! Loved seeing the sunset pic earlier which I'm missing now I'm back to reality after New Year. We also had the amazing pink sky over the Mendips, wild wind now! Your photos of Perranuthnoe with the lights coming on evocative of Flintstones cartoon - superb! Jim was very brave at the Dentists hope he got a sticker! New Asda OK, but loos shouldn't be through the cafe, also traffic lights on car park exit road caused tailbacks - obviously designed by a man! Your 'stained glass window' analagy is wonderful! Keep well Kathy P.
ReplyDeleteSorry you've had problems with the comments - will take the security off, since I'm moderating now. Might help.
DeleteYou really have to wonder about the design of new homes/shops etc they so often get it wrong - any housewife could tell them !
Really windy again tonight and even worse to come this week - not much sleep for me - I always struggle in a noisy wind ! Sue
