Morning walkies

Since it was quite a bright morning, Jim took the dogs out towards Marazion Cemetery on what turned out to be a walk through the Cauliflowers !
Nice and calm in Mount's Bay

Everywhere he pointed the camera they were cutting caulis

Looks like new oilskins have been handed out

 Looking back towards Trenow

Hardly any green left on Tamarisks now as all the growth was so new and tender it has all blown off

  1. Such a shame the Tamarisk is looking so bare, fingers crossed we don't get too many bad gales otherwise I think it will completely give up the ghost and die right back, Great photo though all the same. Still my favourite view. Thank you so much

  2. I think that the new growth was just too delicate - they took quite a time to sprout then of course it was so dry, which might not have helped. We have noticed that they are all looking bare again not just the very exposed ones. I suppose that they have been there for many years, so will hopefully sprout again.
At least we're not as cold as further up-country and still no snow ! Sue
