Afternoon walkies

The lovely Whistling Jacks (Gladiolus Byzantium) are starting to appear - they pop up all over the place and remind us of the Isles of Scilly

Rather cool and grey as we walked the dogs
Trinity House Buoy laying vessel Galatea at anchor in the bay
In the garden the Arum Lillies have suddenly appeared

  2. Our Whistling Jacks seem to keep popping up in the most inappropriate places - like right in the middle of the Orange Day Lillies - still, we love them and there are often still quite a number flowering when we get to Scilly - 3 weeks today and we'll be there and I'm panicking - too much else has been going on, so not even started !
