We climbed to the top of Maen0dhu Point to get a good view of the lifeboats - and of the beach and Mount's Bay as well
Being a photographers dog means having to hang around a lot !
Wooster posing as always
Although it was tricky to get just the right pose in the strong wind
Such a gentle expression
Watching all the other dogs go by
Super view from up there
Quite busy on the big Spring Tide beach
We then went to The Cabin for a coffee and Jim took this through a hole in the Tamarisk
Irene tacking across the bay - she's at anchor this evening off St Mary's
Super view from the ramp
When we got home I spotted a massive sail out at sea - Jim took this through the 'scope
It turned out to be our 2nd Super Yacht of the week - the 46 metre Clan VIII - she sailed into the bay
but then dropped a sail and turned - looking close to the racing fleet of lasers who are holding their Open National Championships that is being hosted by the Mount's Bay Sailing Club
She then dropped the other sail and motored across the bay and round to Falmouth where she is moored next to SY Huckleberry - probably both making their way to Cowes Week.
The wind got stronger during the afternoon - at least this guy was making the most of it
When we walked the dogs this afternoon it wasn't looking hopeful, but we only got a few drops
Later on and another huge bank of cloud appeared - no sunset this evening
