Wooster and Tilly on patrol above the footpath
So good to see blue sky again
The Buzzard family were around again with noisy junior
Crows versus young Buzzard
Still glorious as we walked the dogs
Nice looking sky, but to the South we could see the incoming cloud
The Poser
The warm moist weather has produced a sudden appearance of Fungi
Quite a number still down on the beach and in the water
Not long after I got home, I was sitting at tge PC looking at the photos when something caught my eye and there it was - a Great Green Grasshopper, (Tettigonia viridissima) on the curtain, Jim got it into a large glass, but it clambered up the glass and onto his hand
Jim said that the legs and feet were rather prickley
He carried it down to the garden and put it onto the palms - Assume they have been brought North by the Southerly wind and rain we've had recently
Dark cloud was encroaching by sunset
The sun dropping below the cloud for a short while
Next time I looked it had changed again
Got even darker
Just stunning photos as usual, and wonderful to see the changing colour of the sky. What a grasshopper too!
ReplyDeleteJust hope the Grasshopper didn't come inside with any friends - been watching out just in case ! Sun today, but very changeable for the next few days - and we're off up-country to "England".
DeleteWell that was a surprise ! I wasn't expecting any pictures I thought you were at a wedding !! what a super day and a wonderful sunset to finish it off ! Love the ' dogs on watch photo ' ! thanks Sue.macca.
ReplyDeleteSorry, probably wasn't clear - we leave in the morning for the Thames - looks like rain all the way not nice at all, but the forecast isn't quite as bad for the rest of our time - first Streatley by the Thames in Berkshire then on to Dumbleton Manor near Evesham for the wedding on Sunday - home on Monday Yippee ! Hetty the Yetti is almost loaded and groaning under the weight as the forecast means we need all kinds of clothes. If the Wi-Fi works at the hotel I might post a couple of photos ! Sue
