PERRANUTHNOE is a small village on the South Coast of Cornwall, just East of Marazion, there is a Car Park and sloping access to a safe sandy beach and the beachside Cabin Cafe. It has The Victoria Inn a superb multi award winning pub, which serves super food both lunchtimes & evenings, - a Church dating back as far as 1160. The Lynfield Centre which houses The Cowhouse Gallery, The Peppercorn Cafe and a hairdressers.

Saturday - RNLI Penlee - Fundraising "Swim Around The Mount"

 All in the water for a wave
Ready for the off -
 With plenty of escorts at the ready
Off they went
Towards the Harbour
 Turn left after passing the flag
 Clockwise around The Mount - plenty of people out there keeping an eye on all the swimmers
Simon Green from Ludgvan in the lead all the way
Swimming in strongly
 
Through the finish line & there's his time - amazing !
and they kept on coming
Second one is the first of the lady swimmers Rhianne Robinson
Superb time of 45.02

Hands were sore from so much clapping and throat sore from cheering ! Every swimmer was greeted as they went through the finisih

    Thanks for the Mount swim. My son swum in that and came in 18th. He was very pleased. Ann x

      Really enjoyed watching - water much too cold for me - admired all of the swimmers - your son did really well, I was amazed at how quickly the first 25 or so came in.
      Wooster & I are going to do the Annual Penlee Sponsored Walk - hoping to persuade some of my blog readers to donate a couple of pounds ! Sue
