Tuesday

The expected rain arrived whilst I was having breakfast, so I had to wait for it to pass.  Very windy with much worse expected later on today
 Wild sea again
 Still rather misty & damp

The wind was really pushing at this palm tree which Jim insisted on tethering to the fence - if this Winter carries on like this I think both tree and fence will fall over !
I went up to Oamaru Barn to re-set the thermostats on the heating now that there is no one there for a while  and it started to brighten up a bit, with a little patch of blue sky
By the time I was leaving it was looking much better
Jim took these from home as it started to brighten up
