Wednesday - A trip to Longrock to see the Steam Engine the steam engine Royal Scott pulling the Great Britain Train

Nice and sunny - but cold of course ! I had been tipped off by Chris Jones that the steam engine Royal Scot pulling the Great Britain train  was going to be leaving Penzance Station at just after 10am
Spotted The Royal Scot in Penzance Station - over the bay from me - with the modern London bound train alongside. You can just make out the crowds of people looking at her

Sadly I hadn't had time to find a really good spot - and if I had I'm sure someone would have come and stood in front of me ! !
Crumbs don't remember there being black smoke

It was going to be a long day !

One of the very smart Pullman coaches, with the passengers enjoying the facilities
Getting a photo of The Mount
The Mount looking lovely from this side of the bay - time to go home !
Jim took the dogs up the hill
As you can see lots of clouds and even the odd shower

 Wooster's ear catching the breeze
 Homeward bound
I took them out this afternoon
Still cold and windy, but looking lovely
Fields being prepared for a crop

Sand has been moving back up the beach
Spotted the lovely West Country Trading Ketch  Irene
Oh dear, there goes the footpaths up towards Trebarvah
Irene still ou there - with some sail up
Nice sky a while after sunset
