Tuesday - 3rd May

Scillonian III on her way to Scilly this morning
I took Tilly back to the Vets today as her Kidney infection either returned or never really went away - This is the wonderful house that is Rosevean Vetinary Practice - some lovely, very mature trees & shrubs. We came home with a 2 week course of antibiotics and if they do not work then she will need further examinations - ultra sound of her kidneys etc
Jim took Wooster up the hill
Wooster is missing his running field
Jim read the meter up at Oamaru and took this on Nic's parking space
Sadly this view doesn't look quite as good now that there is brown earth in the foreground
Small tanker Atlantis Armona at anchor over towards Newlyn
This sight greeted me when I got home from the Vets - these Gulls have been causing a lot of bother over the weekend - turning over the doormats and banging on the doors - both upstairs and down with their beaks. I've stuck black polythene on the lower glass in the doors - then it doesn't look like a mirror any more
Unfortunately I noticed that there was the beginnings of a nest up behind the chimney - our builders removed the old protection and did not put it back.
Jim decided it needed to be cleared, so up he went.  (It's only a singly storey from the balcony)
Just a pile of twigs - so far - and down it came !
When we set off with the dogs, we were surprised to find that a pipe has been taped over the annoying step-over on The Churchway footpath
Church Farmhouse has another very unusual bush that has appeared over the fence
Close-up shot
A bit breezy, but some nice sunshine as we took the dogs down Boat Cove Lane

Bluebells on the approach to Maen-dhu Point
Wooster's "Who goes there look"
The he decided he needed to bark !

 Beach looking better each day
What was Wooster looking at on the field ?
 Tiny little Bobby Bunny
Jim decided it was fine enough for a barbecue - bit cold for me and I'm the one who does it !  Fired up the new barbecue and did some chicken
Nice sky after sunset
