Monday

Rain first thing this morning so we hung around in our room - then spotted blue sky. Gannets were soaring close to shore as we set off - on what turned out to be a rather windy day
Dave B on Britannia rocking and rolling over to St Agnes this morning
Scillonian III arriving as we walked through Hugh Town
Never walked along King Edwards Road that leads to Peninnis Head - lovely colourful fields
 Old Town Bay

 Really was looking lovely
We stopped off for a Toasted Tea Cake then walked back over the top of Penninis head
Past the lovely little Old Town Church
and onwards and up over Penninis Head
A few of the amazing rocks up there - too cold and windy to stay too long as we didn't want to get our coats back out of the rucsacs
Wooster stressing that it was windy out there - why was his ear back and Tilly's nice and proper !
We've always tried to get a photo of our dogs up here - goes right back to our first Pointer and little Jenny our foundling cross breed
Still no sunset and it was much too cold and windy to stop and watch - just in case !

    1. Needed to go the Pharmacy, so had to find it - he he ! I've never been before. Then seemed obvious to head for the top of Penninis - less windy walk. More sunshine and showers today and lots of wind, but probably heading along past Juliets and onwards. Possible thunder storms tomorrow - hope not ! Must be thankful we're not getting your deluge ! Sue
