The last few days on Scilly - Friday 17th June

Nasty start to the day again - rain and drizzle, so I walked down into Hugh Town  for a paper - this is looking over to the Marquees on Holgates Green  ready for the Ötillö swim runon Saturday
Our friendly boatman Tim Fortey - not going to get 12 people on that !
The last time we saw little black bunny - don't like to think where all the hundreds that are usually on The Garrison have gone only saw one out near the campsite in the evenings
After lunch and the weather front that brought the dampness with it was heading South
 Morning Point Battery again
Further round The Garrison walk - always good to have a cannon when there's Frenchies around
Porthcressa looking stunning - especially with yacht Mayuko almost on the beach - assume she has a lifting keel as we've seen her in shallow water before
Looking over the narrow strip on land between Porthcressa and the Harbour

They say that cruise ships are extremely polluting - this one certainly was - as 6 of us stood right up at the gateway to the Star Castle the stench of diesel fumes was horrible as they prepared to leave
Our after dinner walkies
Clouds in the wrong place again
Liked the flash from the sun

Nice moon as well
