Sunday

As forecast it was a glorious day

Looked like it was going to be busy everywhere
We set off to Marazion as it was both Marazion Carnival day and also Lifeboat Day on The Mount
 Mount's Bay looking wonderful
Not sure which Hawker this was, but stayed still for long enough !
It may be Sunday, but those plants need to go into the ground
 Looking back to Trenow
 Beautiful !
We walked into Marazion at the back of the procession - this tank must be what every boy or girl wants
Some of the cottages in Marazion are looking wonderful

Perhaps paddling over is part of the fun
 Love this water feature

The boats were working for those who wanted to keep their feet dry
Only a few minutes later and they were wading
We walked around the Carnival area, but it was really busy and noisy, so we carried on to the footpath through the RSPB Nature Reserve. Saw this lovely Six Spot Burnet Moth
 Then this Beautiful Demoiselle
We found some seats and sat in the sun - very peaceful - until a train came past !
Not much water visible at this time of year
Grey Heron took off from the reeds in front of  us

 Back over the Red River
Walked past the Mount's Bay Gig Club's Taran

Arrival of the Lifeboats -  We had decided that it was too busy to go over to The Mount  as we had to consider the dogs who can not go beyond the harbour over there
Into the harbour to go alongside for people to be able to board and look around
Still lots wanting to go over to The Mount
Tripper boat Mermaid II popping into the Harbour
 & out again
We were sitting having tea at The Godolphin Arms when the Lifeboat came back out
Lovely roar of the engines as they went back to Newlyn
Wooster making me laugh again - we were trying to get a posed photo of them both wearing their RNLI neckerchiefs - note Jim's hand to the left & Wooster's expression
There they were still planting !
I gather there has been lots wanting to enter the bad parking competition - here's just the two we saw - this one parked in the middle of the Bus Stop
and this one parked on the corner - when he set off he managed to reverse it into the blackboard and the wall - he wasn't pleased he'd dented his bumper
Nice sky as I barbecued again !
