Saturday

I think you can see the weather - cool and grey again
Jim took the dogs up the hill

and I went into Penzance
I spotted the big lug sail of Happy Return and went over to get some photos
It was time to remove the sails to store them for the Winter
Going up for a bit more drying out

Walked past the Mali Rose - still not in the water

Wondered if this is part of her new crane- with another piece behind
Autumnal colours over on The Mount
Walked down towards Battery Rocks and loved this huge rock pool
Just hanging around
Just as I was walking away all hell broke lose and this juv. gull arrived, triumphantly carrying a crust of bread
Follwed by several others
Car then came rather close and off they went
By the time I had done my shopping and had a coffee the harbour was filling up
Popped up to Trebarvah to turn down the heat at Oamaru Barn as there is no one in until mid November
Afternoon walkies and Wooster and Tilly met tiny little Buster
Noticed that the Church clock has stopped
Scillonian III on her way past Newlyn - only 5 more trips this year
We had a little sun during the afternoon, sadly it suddenly disappeared just before we set off

Amazing sunlight on the Penwith Moors

Onwards into the dark nights we go - have to remember to set off earlier on our afternoon walkies tomorrow
