Saturday

Not a bad start to the day
Car park looking full, I suppose people were glad to be able to get out after the storms
The dwarf Narcissi in the front wall have suddenly burst into flower
Dramatic skies as Jim walked the dogs as showers and a band of rain were expected later

 Still quite splashy out there

 Tide was well in

I popped into Penzance and then up to  Trebarvah to check the measurements for the new double bed - shower was racing over the bay towards me
and the main area of rain we were expecting was approaching
By the time I got home the wind was really getting up again and the rain was sweeping in

Afternoon walkies - looking fairly good to the East
Lots of large showers clouds still moving our way from the West
Oil products tanker Amorea back in Mount's Bay after riding out the storms further out into the shipping lanes

Oh dear ! showers heading straight for us

We got a bit wet, but we were dressed for it

Wooster felt like a bit of mountaineering
Bit of wind under his ears

Sand level is well down
