Saturday

Lots of showers and larger areas of rain today, but in between the sun shone
Looking good - for a while
A little later  a large area of rain was approaching just as I was heading out to Oamaru
As I arrived at Trebarvah I could see I didn't have long to unload the car and get inside
Very dramatic
and it brought heavy rain for quite a long while
During the next lull Jim took the dogs out - here are Zeus of Finland and Thor still waiting for a few days of calmer weather in the forecast

The next lot of rain approaching
Dogs had their wax jackets on - best to be prepared

and back home just in time
At least the garden is enjoying all the rain
Another from Trebarvah
Sadly no lawn mowing today - much too wet and not enough time between the periods of rain
It was a big job for the ladies of Squeaky Clean to get Oamaru Barn ready for the next visitors but the ladies did well and it was lovely to welcome our guests again. They are the very first family who stayed there when we first bought it and they've  been back each year
The  view through the lounge window
More rain sweeping over the moors
When I got home I noticed that something had been loaded onto the platform - or the other way round
Afternoon walkies same old story
Scillonian III almost back in Penzance

This smells like Mint and we have some in the garden
Hope fully less rain from now on
