First thing this morning I drove round the bay to Mousehole to hopefully see friend Mike's boat Merlin put onto a trailer - sadly 2 tractors and lots of traffic meant I just arrived as Merlin was leaving
Fortunately as I walked along it came right past heading for Gweek, hopefully to return soon looking more like her old self and ready to go back into the water.
The sun had come out and Mousehole was looking super
Well ! it would have been rude not to call in to The Rockpool Cafe
PZ36 Ajax with Alan Dwan off to find more wonderful Hake
St Michael's Mount from the other side of the bay
No matter where I stood our house was hidden by Panthera J
Prettiest little Merle Dachshund
The latest Rowse Crabber TO50 Harriet-Eve
Meanwhile Jim was taking the dogs out
The cloud was gradually clearing
Still don't understand why the Life Guards mark such a small area with their flags
My kind neighbour at Trebarvah had alerted me to the fact that these electricity poles had been left outside Oamaru Barn - I popped up on my way home and wasn't happy about the fact that if they were left there overnight someone could either drive over them or even fall over them as there's no street lighting up there. I managed to find the guy from Western Power and asked if they could be moved
By now Mount's Bay was looking wonderful
When I got home I spotted this from the balcony - thank you kind sir ! They are now lying in a safer spot
I sat on Wooster's patio and had a coffee - the sea was almost looking tempting
Lovely silvery sea
The field is looking very green after the rain
Spotted this Gatekeeper, but it wasn't very co-operative
Sun was still warm even though it was almost 7pm
Had to rescue this huge Bumblebee - been looking and think it might be a Southern Cuckoo Bumblebee - quite scary as it was big and sounded rather angry
Beautiful photo's once again Sue, luckily we saw Mounts Bay for ourselves yesterday, had a good drive around from the Lizard to Lands End and back to Perranuthnoe late afternoon. BLISS.
ReplyDeleteIt has been looking lovely recently - the blues have been really bright - Had a tiny shower as we walked the dogs this afternoon - now back to blue sky and sunshine Sue
DeleteLooking so pretty in the sunshine. Roland and I went to the Rockpool Cafe last year and enjoyed sitting inside, but must be lovely when the wind isn't blowing a gale to sit outside.
ReplyDeleteI was so lucky as although it was breezy the sun was out ! Such a super place - but almost too popular now in the high season. Sue
