Tuesday

Phoenix of Dell Quay - superb square rigger and famous for appearing in all sorts of films and TV programs including of course Poldark
Breezy but fine morning - much like yesterday
A little more blue sky today
Usual morning walkies

Skybus - Britten-Norman  BN-2B Scenic Tour from Lands End
I went up to Trebarvah and mowed the lawns and was later joined by Jim with his petrol brushcutter with extra strong blades to cut down the new growth around the edge of the farmyard
Looking a lot better - some of it is just too difficult to get at
The view from Oamaru Barn restored
In the meantime I drove down to Penzance - sadly very slowly behind an inevitable tractor  as I wanted a closer shot of Phoenix
I parked and walked quickly along harbour road
Only to find she'd already set off again
Managed a couple of decent shots  - built in the 1920's she was altered at some point to look like an old square rigger as they are frequently needed for filming etc

Lots of fun at Jubilee Pool
Bite Adventures zooming back to Penzance - you can see that it was rather windy out there
Louisa-N getting some new paint and Mali Rose still hanging around - with her crane up over Vega for some reason
Looks like they have repaired the hydraulics on Gry Maritha's cargo door
Sand Snipe still in the dry dock
Lots of fun in the Dry Dock pool
Afternoon walkies and yet again there was a huge dark shower cloud
Another field planted
Shower moving to the East

Cable inspection
The crowds of visitors heading back over the causeway

Not as many left on the beach this evening

    1. Probably my fault for buying some shorts - not very short but I don't usually wear them - prefer cropped trousers, but I got so very hot Hmm ! Hopefully the weather will be a bit better after today. Sue
