Tuesday

Glorious but breezy day
Mermaid II came past
The Buddlea Globosa is now in full flower
We walked up and over the hill to Trenow
Wonderful blue sea
The RS400's were setting off

Almost a frame of Tamarisk
We walked down to Trenow Cove to give the hot dogs a drink
The stream flowing through old mine workings
Wooster standing in the little stream to cool his feet - hot dog Tilly just wouldn't drink so I put some on her head
Love seeing people on the balconies
Pretty coloured spinnakers out for the run back in

Very low Spring Tide and all the length of The Greeb showing
Wooster says it was a strong Easterly wind
Busy beach
Still plenty of room - until the tide came in
Sea King was flying around the bay
Strange contrail that changes from white to grey
Spotted this Hummingbird Hawkmoth on a buddlea, but didn't realise that my camera was on the wrong setting Grrr!

Cloud advancing from the West
Very dramatic

Looking to the North it was still blue

Boat Cove looking so different now the tide is in

Gig rowed out towards The Greeb then turned
Tide almost up to the cliffs
Bunny watching on the way home

  1. Great photos again today, the Tamarisk is looking good, recovering well. Thank you, you know I love that view. Looks like we have got another few days of fine weather hopefully the east wind will calm down a little for the visitors to enjoy their last few days of holidays. Awesome shots of the low cloud behind the Mount, possibly one for the calendar 😉 Thank you so much both of you

    1. We seem to be getting far too much dramatic cloud this Summer. Do hope that this weekend is fine really don't want another set of holidaymakers going home fed up. Sue

  2. How the scene can change from one direction to another. Loved the sunny shots and the beautiful, mysterious Mount.
It's flu season here in Melb. Enjoy your summer days.
    Best wishes to you both.

    1. It's been that kind of Summer Betty - never settled into a spell of fine weather as the jet stream that brings the weather across the Atlantic is stuck right over us rather than be further to the North. We'll be heading into Autumn soon - oh dear ! Do hope that you haven't got Flu - take care Sue
