Hi What is the history behind the name Boat Cove.
ReplyDeleteWhen we first arrived in Perranuthnoe there was a boat kept down there (the last of several that used to be there) there was a long ramp from the top of the cliff and the boat could be pushed out along the channel that you can see at low tide. Sadly the cliff eroded and the National Trust that own the land decided that the shed and ramp had to go (Health and Safety) Pity as we used to enjoy chatting to the old guy that fished from there.
