Monday

Still very windy this morning
Work has started up at Trebarvah to put the overhead cables underground in the Farmyard  & down the field
First trench dug

It will be great to get rid of these cables
and the poles
Wooster keeping guard over his Tennis Ball
The wind  was a North Westerly and blowing strongly across the bay
Afternoon and Wooster took a dash around the field

The Mount has been closed today with no boats due to the wind and everyone was asked to leave the island by 5pm
Sun was really tricky today
Quite a number of Swallows zooming and dipping around us as we walked above Boat Cove - just managed this bad shot

Wooster confirming it was a North Westerly wind
Then decided to bark

Still some nice waves on the far side of the beach

Lovely flock of Goldfinches landed above us

Hope the Norfolk Island Pine is going to cope with the Winter winds, it was really bending a lot today
Spotted a Belladonna Lilly that wasn't removed when all the others came out to put in a better spot
The first one is almost out fully. Must remember to check the Churchyard
Picked a few Blackberries on the way home - went to undo my shoelace without looking properly and ouch !
