Assume this is her last week of sailings for 2017 (can't find the timetable)
Was a lovely morning, but we needed to be home by lunchtime for a delivery
So we walked up the hill and were hoping to cross the cattle field
No way ! ! !
Since they are calving or nearly ready to do so there was no way we could cross - gather once they've produced their calf they are put in with the milkers in the next field. Still do not believe that Heifers ready to calve should be put in a field with such a popular footpath running across it
Not sure if it fell down, was pulled down or is sold
Looking a bit like a little Bush Baby - barking as we passed by
We walked East for a while
Calm and peaceful - no more visitors
Thought this was a Robin, but on closer inspection I think it might be a female Stonechat
Late butterfly
Tilly would like to apologise for treading on this poor Bee - she was in a lot of pain for a while and Jim rushed home and brought the car down to get her home - eventually found a Piriton and she calmed down and was fine - no swelling thank goodness. Sadly of course the Bee died
We'd seen this vessel out in the bay - turns out it was the Dutch Navy Submarine support vessel A900 Mercuur
and there was the submarine - Dutch Walrus class submarine - super photo from Michael Ellis in Mousehole Sadly we never saw it
More cloud yet again as we walked the dogs
Really crowded out on The Greeb
