Saturday

Not the morning we were expecting - it was supposed to be sunny

Up at Oamaru and eventually it was all ready for our new visitors
Now that the nights are drawing in I like to leave the lights on in case the visitors arrive after dark

I popped out to get a couple of bags of logs and suddenly there was blue sky
Amazing layers of clouds out the the West

That was it - I went home for a very late lunch
Afternoon walkies
Looking up the hill to Trebarvah
Even though Tilly doesn't see well, or hear much she suddenly really tugged on her lead - she had spotted this cat on the shed roof

Lovely to meet this couple again with their two Basset Hounds - like us they have an old one and a young one. When we still had Charlie he loved to meet them as his best friend in Leics. was a Basset - Wooster had a great time

I know that this cliff isn't very high, but the message doesn't seem to be getting across
Looking good down on the beach
Thought I'd take possibly the last photo of the Yucca flower as I suspect the wind on Monday will might blow it away
The sunset this evening
Dropping into a striped cloud

  1. WOW, what a sunset and beautiful photo's capturing it. Oamaru looking beautiful. Batten down the hatches Sue, fingers crossed it might not be as bad as the weathermen are forecasting. Take care if your out walking. Thank you once again.

    1. Yes tomorrow and next Saturday looking rather wild and windy. I've gone into storm/Winter mode and tied the chairs around the patio table - at home and Oamaru - explained to the visitors that it wasn't to stop them using them, just safety as they can really fly around. No sunset today - no sun really such a pity as the forecast was better. Sue

  2. I keep telling Gizmo to smile when she sees you but she is clearly not up for the happy face! (sorry!). My parents are hooked on your blog since I introduced them to it when they last stayed here! Lucy xx (Churchway Cottage/grumpy cat!)

    1. Couldn't believe that Tilly knew that Gizmo was there as she doesn't see or hear well. Gizmo stayed up on the shed just watching ! Sue
