Seemed to be a lot of singing and story telling in the main area - not mentioned in the "What's on"
Ah the food - Wooster was really impressed - and I liked the look of the Coffee & Walnut cake
Stevenson's (Newlyn) fishy stall
Wooster was even more impressed with these sausage rolls
The stars of the day - Falmouth Oysters
and all the right drink to go with them
Amazing
Super Yacht Amaryllis - seems to belong to yet another Russian oligarch - 22 crew for 12 passengers when out and about
Couldn't get a photo of either Wave Knight or Wave Ruler - one of the Royal Naval Auxiliary vessels
Nice and sunny on this side of the square - sadly all the chairs for people to sit outside were on the windy shady side Hmm. We sat on the steps and ate some light lunch - Jim lobster in a posh roll and me the aforementioned coffee and walnut cake with coffee.
We had been looking forward to going into Rick Stein's as we always have done - Jim for their speciality cooked Oysters and me fish and chips - sadly this year they had decided not to do a special menu for the Festival and without the oysters there didn't seem to be any point Grrr!
Love these old building as we walked back to the car park -Arwenack House
Arwenack Manor
When we got home I could just see Scillonian III cruising around the bay to allow Gry Maritha onto Lighthouse Pier to unload
Later in the afternoon low cloud & mist started to drift around
Looking SW and it was all very dramatic
Really very dark over the moors
Grey Heron down below the footpath
Dark clouds appearing from everywhere
Sun still shining onto the beach
