Wednesday

Opened the door to be greeted by Mr & Mrs Crow and lovely blue sky
The low cloud and fog moving away

Scillonian III passing Mousehole
Jim took the dogs out through the village
and down Boat Cove lane
It was really warm compared to yesterday

Nice sky

Fun in Boat Cove

Quite a few surfers

Really looking like a Winter beach now with so much sand moved from the top

Off home they went
Meanwhile I went into Penzance
Harbour looking lovely
I was just in time to see Mermaid II lifted back into the water

 Adrian Thomas & Master Thomas
Looking very smart and with new Mermaid

Nice view through the gaps

Obviously still in dry dock, but up for sale for £3,000.000
The hole gets bigger
piece been cut out of the bulb
Shopping done and new glasses collected I headed back to the car park - Mermaid now with fenders on
Boat Pen filling up
Caught Jim's bug for panoramas
Lovely sky as I drove down to Lidl in Wherrytown, so I nipped onto the prom for a photo
Looking over the bay to Ednovean Lane with Trebarvah Lane above
Trebarvah
As I was driving home the fogs came back as a weather front passed us by - but that didn't put the beach goers off

Church looking rather lovely in the mist as we went out with the dogs
You know what should be there !

There was sadly a dead young Seal on the beach - which I have reported to the Cornwall Wildlife Strandings
Noticed that Longcliff is back on the market -  It is built of mundic block in a bad state - Planning permission was refused a while ago as the plan was rather over the top

    1. They were really lucky that the sale fell through or Gry might have been gone - Mali Rose was never given the OK to do the trip full time - Gry will be battling the Winter seas once more. Sue

  2. Will three million pounds cover the costs incurred in bringing the Mali Rose up to spec.? There seems to be an ominous silence regarding the proposed sale and future plans.. in the meantime,Sue,thanks for the wonderful photographs and the tantalizing snippets ABS
