Friday

Beautiful start to the day
Yacht dwarfed by Navigator Phoenix
Shimmering water
I set off with the dogs
Back to the beach with the sand now back at the ramp

A couple of beautiful Setters

Stunning morning
Hebe in full flower
Super view of the beach as we walked up to Trebarvah
We met Penny who had unfortunately lost a boot in the mud at the bottom of the path to the coastal footpath - she managed to get it out but had a very wet muddy foot
and little Poppy had muddy feet as well
Super view today

War games continue with lots of activity - this was a Merlin that came directly overhead
Four Hawk jets
Some high cloud rising during the afternoon
Afternoon walkies up towards Ednovean
Sadly miss-timed and Jim had to snatch a shot over the hedge as the sun was setting behind the hills

Looking past the corner of Oamary Barn

The cloud behind The Mount starting to develop some colour

Such a super but cold  late afternoon
More and more colour
Then the Starlings appeared

Hundreds of them

Super end to the day

  1. What a lovely day! Beautiful Mount and beach shots and such a wonderful sunset.
Fantastic video. I put it on full screen and could see more detail, like Ding Dong Mine? on the horizon.
Have a great week-end. Hope Nick is okay now.

    1. We've been so lucky to have these few really good days as you say both clear and sunny. Nick has recovered and gone back to work today thank goodness. Sadly both Jim & Tilly are a bit poorly - Tilly has her usual Bladder infection and an ulcerated eye and Jim tummy trouble - so it was all down to Wooster and I. Sue

    1. We've been enjoying the beach visits, but sadly Tilly has got her usual Bladder infection even though we haven't let her get wet at all on the beach. She also has an ulcerated eye, so a swift visit to the Vet and she has the eye cream and tablets ! Looks like Wooster and I will be going to the beach together from now on. No frost here so far, but we must have been close a couple of times. Sue

    1. So good to have some fine Autumn/Winter style weather, sadly Tilly not too good (see above) so she'll have to stay at home with Jim while I take Wooster to the beach on a good day. Sue
