Wednesday

Weather warning for wind and rain today - and they were right
The rain hadn't arrived yet this morning, so I dashed out with the dogs
Sea looking wild already and the wind was not yet too bad - gusting around 45-50mph

Maen-dhu Point and The Greeb

A sudden streak of brown dog and there was Cassie - a quick dash about with Wooster and then off she went again

Our poor Palm tree bending in the wind.
I went up to Oamaru Barn as I was hoping to get the chimney swept - but being a sensible chap he called it off until next week as he was going to change the cowl at Coromandel at the same time and today was not the day to climb a ladder ! Hopefully next Wednesday it will be done. I packed up and came home quickly as the wind was getting worse as the main area of rain arrived. Gusts of over 60mph and a lots of rain so sadly no afternoon walkies
