Windy morning, but not cold as the wind was Southerly - I popped out to post a parcel and fill Hetty up with Petrol - Popped into Oamaru for the worktop oil as I needed it at home
Jim went out with the dogs
Wooster has a new half a ball
Sea looking quite lively, but as the wind got up later it got rather angry looking
Happy boy
Home they went and sadly it rained later on so no walkies as it was also gusting between 45 - 50 mph
We're pleased with what we've managed to create on just a flat wall - lovely Oak beams came from ebay - nicely finished and ready to stick onto the wall - had to remove part of the skirting board, so new little multi-tool bought and did a great job. Oak has had its first coat of oil and Tilly's bed is all ready for her as there's no heat at all, even though it crackles nicely. I spent the rest of the day putting up the last three blinds in the hall - job done !
I thought you might be interested to know that according to the BTO Birdtrack sight Matt Southam reports a sighting of a single Swallow at Boat Cove on 6th December!I wonder if this is the first of the season or,perhaps, the last. Best Wishes ABS
ReplyDeleteLooks like Tilly will be lovely and snug! I hope Wooster doesn't decide to take over such an inviting spot.
