Saturday

Rain at first then when it cleared through we just had good old Cornish Mizzle. I spent the day up at Oamaru painting the dining room furniture
 Just a quick walkies

Sadly it didn't improve during the afternoon

  1. The misty mount always seems to get to my imagination and I wonder if my ancestors ever viewed it. I guess they could have seen it from Godolphin Hill. They may have come down to Marazion for a closer view.
Hope the 'mizzle' clears soon. Seems you have had quite a lot lately. Is the word a combination of mist and drizzle?
How I would love to stay in your cosy cottage one day. You take such good care of it.

    1. I would think your ancestors would have seen The Mount as it is visible from any of the hills and they may have travelled to market in either Marazion or Penzance at some point. Yes Cornish Mizzle is a rather wet mist which isn't quite drizzle - we certainly get a lot of it in Winter. Would be wonderful to have a few days without rain to help the ground dry out a bit. Sue

Have had to add the word verification as I am getting lots of obscene messages in the comments
