Tuesday

Massive shower clouds racing across the sky this morning
Leaving some blue sky for a short while
Jim took the dogs for a short walk up the hill in the bitterly cold wind

Although the sun was still out the next rain was racing towards us

I popped up to Oamaru to replace the Microwave and the sun was shining onto The Mount - just for a little while
I then went up the A30 to B&Q Pool to return a couple of items & then Next & M&S to return more - that hadn't been a successful shopping trip
A snatched shot through the bedroom window when I got home - I could see spray blowing right up & over the top
One of the many massive shower clouds heading South East
Later this afternoon I suddenly realised I could see lots of white birds just out in front of us and there they were a massive number of Gannets on a feeding frenzy - obviously a big shoal of fish

Last sighting of the sun - not enough gaps in between the showers to get another walk in
The largest gust of wind as registered at the NCI Station on Gwennap Head  at 7.10pm when a horrendous hail storm passed through - going to carry on much the same for tomorrow
