All of you in the UK will know that it was really cold again as the "Beast from The East" was approaching. We needed to go to Falmouth to buy the replacement carpet for Oamaru Barn, but we decided that it was much too cold for the dogs to go as they'd have been left in the car and then walked on a cold Gyllingvase Beach as it faces East - right into the wind.
So Jim took the dogs for a quick walk
Hope that is just a bonfire behind The Mount
I went to Trago in Falmouth & I paid for the carpet and went upstairs for a coffee. Super view from up there of this fine looking vessel Orion
Several of the Royal Fleet Auxilliary vessels - but can only confirm Argus.
RFA Argus is looking rather in need of coat of paint
Love the sound of a Sea King passing overhead
I arrived home and found that Jim hadn't noticed that the fields had been given a going over
Pelagic Marksman heading East today
Still going over the dead Cauliflowers
The view is changing colour - all going to look rather brown
All the fields done and the hedges were being trimmed until after dark
We've had the Pampas Grasses cut back as they had got so wind blown and you can see the wonderful work of master Cornish Hedger Tim Lord, exposed by the dead Hottentot Figs
