Thursday

An early shower had wet the ground, but we didn't have any more rain until the evening.

Really bitterly cold wind again, but at least the sun was shining

Cembrook still waiting for conditions to improve
Down the hill
There they were
I went up to Oamaru and looked out of the front door to see a huge number of Gannets feasting on a shoal of fish
Sorry about the jumpy video - it was really blowing a hooley and I should have wedged myself against the doorway better
Ronez over in Gwavas Lake

Pelagic Marksman
Ring netter ! - as you can see
"Super" Dave Sharp has braved the elements today and renewed the cill at the garden door at Oamaru Barn - just needs to be cleaned and a coat of varnish - and  he put a couple of new taps in the bathroom basin - Great stuff ! I managed to mow the lawns as the wind had dried the top of the grass although they're pretty wet & muddy
Just as I was leaving

Jim took the dogs for a quick run up the hill
