An early shower had wet the ground, but we didn't have any more rain until the evening.

I went up to Oamaru and looked out of the front door to see a huge number of Gannets feasting on a shoal of fish
Sorry about the jumpy video - it was really blowing a hooley and I should have wedged myself against the doorway better

"Super" Dave Sharp has braved the elements today and renewed the cill at the garden door at Oamaru Barn - just needs to be cleaned and a coat of varnish - and he put a couple of new taps in the bathroom basin - Great stuff ! I managed to mow the lawns as the wind had dried the top of the grass although they're pretty wet & muddy
