Mermaid II going well into the wind at Newlyn

First thing this morning and the high tide was removing more of the falls at the bottom of the cliff 

Nice to see some blue sky 

Jim took the dogs up the hill and from there he could see that there was a lot more cloud around 

 Really cold NW wind 

The sun shining on The Castle as I drove up the drive 

Our prospective buyers for Oamaru Barn came to have another look - and still seemed to love it. More extra gifts for this weeks visitors to make up for the presence of builders - although they're not making much more noise than the farmers did in previous years 

When I returned from  Trebarvah, we set off for Newlyn where Pendeen Gig Rowing Club were holding the World Plastic Gig Championship (Plastic gigs being the training gigs)

We'd missed many of the races - this was the first one we saw

We met this super Wire Haired German Pointer puppy from Launceston 

Jim was driving so I had time to admire the view as we came down the Penzance Bypass 

Lovely colours in the water 

Yet again just a glimpse of red below the clouds at sunset
