Just a few from Tuesday - sorry rather late, but we have visitors again
Glorious morning, but still chilly in the wind
Sea King on navigator training
Wooster making sure Jim's lines are straight

Afternoon walkies - Still haven't been able to find out what this is, but it looks exotic, but hasn't been frosted like so many other plants
Little Egret and Redshank
Plant leaf looks very much like Bay, but possibly it's a Pittosporum species, could you not pick a little and take to a Garden centre for identification, would be interested to know what it is.
ReplyDeleteFancy the man of the house wearing shorts already, was it really that warm down your way, beautiful sunshine here but still a icy feel in the breeze, hopefully warmer weather coming in soon.
Jim says his legs never feel the cold - should have been a postman ! Hope it does warm up soon
DeleteWhat a view those homes have in pic.5. They look like they've been there many years. Is the furthest one thatched?
ReplyDeleteLooks like a summer's day with Jim mowing in his shorts! Hardy man!
Betty
No the furthest on isn't thatch - do do thatch much in Cornwall - especially not coastal Cornwall as it probably wouldn't stand up to the winds - think most of them have been replaced by slate or tile even if they were originally thatch. Not like summer today cold and windy with rain arriving. Sue
