Another misty morning
A little warmer which was nice
Hardly any wind
Raking in the old Cauliflower plants
Nice big beach
A lot of Hawk activity this morning but the cloud level was too low and this was the only one I actually saw
Had a look at the frosted Agapanthus sadly many of the shoots are squelchy so I don't think they're going to make it
This second clump looks a little better and the Arum Lillies have some shoots
Buddy in action -big fella !
Missy relaxing on the drive
Afternoon walkies
Good to see a yacht out in the bay
Kernow Rock - Found in Perranuthnoe - supposed to be taken and hidden elsewhere for others to find, but shan't be going far so left it there for someone else
Know it's a Diver - Great Northern possibly
Sand in the water again - moving in or out I wonder
Inshore Lifeboat the Mollie and Ivor Dent crossing the bay and passing Cudden Point on a shout to Rinsey Head
As they were heading back there was a second shout for an overdue kayaker who was making for Lamorna from Praa - as they arrived the kayaker was just arriving - The AWB Ivan Ellen had also been called out - they both returned to base
Setting sun covered by the high cloud
Hi Sue, don't give up on your Arum Lillie and Agapanthus, I thought exactly the same about mine, but I noticed this afternoon that they have been fooling me and little shoots are appearing. Looking forward to the weather next week, very warm yesterday, made such a difference to gardening, not having to be wrapped up with thick jumpers and scarves, & our garden birds are so happy, very busy nest building at the moment, so interesting to watch from our Conservatory, they must get worn out. Thanks for the beautiful sunset photo from last night/ Thank you so much once again.
ReplyDeleteWe won't give up on any of the plants until we're sure they're finished. Sadly the Norfolk Island Pine is looking very brown - not looking good at all ! Sue
