Windy morning
Small patches of blue
Happy gulls following the tractor

Cassie came to visit
With Bonnie coming along behind
Tilly  getting a little confused and heading in the wrong direction
That's better !
Sadly it rained this afternoon just when it was walkies time

  1. Finally had time to sit and go back through your blog posts for several weeks. The weather seems to have been very changeable, so I hope it is settled when we arrive in early May. I noted your comment about adders. It seems that there must be more about these days as there are warnings about Mawnan churchyard and the area around there too. Wonder if that is global warming and winters not being as harsh, or is it just more people out walking these days?

    1. Know you're busy with fa,ily spread about far and wide. Pleased you'll be back in UK soon. Hope the weather imprpoves - was supposed to be really lovely this week - hope you've seen the video and photos of Porthleven this morning. Attrocious weather and with high tides - expect the cliffs will have suffered again. As for the Adders, yes they do seem to be about more and more - mind you we've lived here for 14 years and didn't know they are in the old spoil heap we walk past every day - scary as Jim and Wooster both like to climb up there !They evidently like the old rabbit warrens. We really deserve a good Summer after the Winter we've had, did you see the snow in the photos - I'm sure you will notice that many of the plants have been killed by the serious frosts that we had - sad ! Sue

    2. We are looking forward to arriving, and meeting up with our daughter who has been on a three month trip to Asia, Greece and Italy. She has never been to Cornwall in the spring, so we are hoping for good weather so they can get out on the river and go fishing. As for us, we will tackle yet another job on the cottage and hope it gets accomplished before we leave again.
I did see the snow which looked so pretty, but so far don't know how our garden fared.I did see the Porthleven video as I followmost things Cornish, and I also like James Kitto's photos too.
On the way over we are stopping in Brooklyn to see our other daughter, son in law and our 16 month old grandson. We are lucky that our son lives 15 mins from us, so get to see our little granddaughter much more frequently.
Stay safe on your walks - I will be watching where I put my feet in the woods down to Maenporth! Not as bad a the rattlesnakes we have here, but I don't like any of them!
