Saturday

Nice sunny morning - but there was still that cool wind

Sun on either side but Scillonian III in shade as she set out

After a couple of weeks rest Oamaru Barn is all ready for this weeks visitors - a few extras included some of Andrea's delicious fudge  normally on sale near the Car Park

Home again
Nab Hopper Barge - just out of dry dock, crossing the bay
Lugger Happy Return on a silvery sea
Good to see the Valerian starting to flower
Walking down the track towards the car park

Two of these - really took us by surprise
Army Westland Apache AH1 - callsign Gunship1
One of the most lethal helicopters in the world is the Apache from which they say "You can run but you only died tired ! "

Off they went, following the coast and down to Lizard Point

    1. Tilly's much the same, not really deteriorating except for all the toilet accidents. Otherwise she sleeps eats most of her meals and goes off on her walks quite happily.
Sadly my knee suddenly got worse on yesterday afternoon's walkies think I might have torn the meniscus again as with the other knee - hopefully off for a cortisone injection early in the week to see if I can keep going into the Summer. Have seen your weather forecast you really have been getting the worst of it - although it is still rather chilly here, pleased to see that the Gig Champs should have quite good weather, both for getting there and the rowing. Pleased you enjoy the webcams - I have been meaning to put them all together as there are quite a number now. Bye for now. Sue
