Glad to see that Bank Holiday Monday was fine and sunny. Our Memorial Day was hit with morning coastal cloud, and then after clearing, the clouds rolled back in early. It is chilly enough that I have the gas log fire on tonight. However, a well spent weekend clearing out our veggie beds as everything bolted when we were in Cornwall, so now two are planted back with seedlings and some cheater tomato plants from the garden centre. Now I just need to get over the worst jet lag I have had in years!
ReplyDeletePity about the jet lag - Jim was so luck went to China, Japan, Korea and US and never suffered from it. We seem to be stuck in this cloudy misty stuff, although it does clear every now and then. We've been so lucky to miss the terrible thunder storms they've had in the Midlands. Hope the weather is kind to your re-planted garden. Sue
DeleteGreat photo's today, thanks to Mr.M I presume, hope you get a date very soon for your knee op Sue. Is that a new fence under the Tamarisk tree???? been quite since I have walked that far but don't remember it like that. Still the best view though. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteYes most are from Jim - date is 8th June if I pass the pre-op tests but BP is a problem, so went to GP this morning for some different tablets. Think the fence has been there since one of the storms - I usually stand closer in so you wouldn't see much of it.
