Thursday

The 294 metre long cruise ship Queen Victoria heading West in the haze this morning - listing Guernsey - she went round Lands End and was going North, but she's now turned around and is heading for Guernsey and due to arrive in the morning
Fisheries Protection vessel St Piran
Off goes Tilly
RNLI Penlee Lifeboat heading out on a shout. They were tasked to go South of The Lizard to look for the source of a red flare that had been reported  - she was joined by both Falmouth and Lizard Lifeboats as well as a Coastguard SAR helicopter. Nothing was found

In the meantime at home the carpet fitters had arrived
Royal Navy Kingair from Culdrose
Lots more cloud and much cooler this afternoon

Wooster in the gorse admiring the view
Since things never seem to be straight forward and easy in our house, today was no different - the carpet was not the full 5 metres wide and we thought we had a problem, but managed to sort it in the end
