Saturday

Great way to start the day
Beautiful morning

Barely a ripple

Way out in the shipping lanes the 296metre RoRo/Container vessel Atlantic Sea - such a clear morning
After breakfast, off he went - with a new cutter section, to finish cutting the footpath as it goes through the spoil heap. Sadly sincer there are Adders up on the heap Wooster had to stay at home - and he wasn't pleased

Almost too bright to look at
Nice wispy clouds later on
Scillonian III returning early after an 8am trip this morning, due to the Mazey Day Festivities & the Golowan  Fair
Later on Jim took Wooster up the hill to show off his hard work

He even found an old footpath sign

Much better for a while at least

Looks like the track up to Trebarvah has been cut
and along this part of the footpath

But not the path that goes up to Trebarvah

It's the Nettles that are the main problem

Again the clarity is amazing today - another ro/ro cargo vessel Delphine
Jim has always complained that the gas barbecue doesn't flavour the meat like a charcoal one, so tonight we tried this new - fan powered charcoal one - steaks were good and hardly any charcoal needed. This was almost the cheapest one on Amazon - there are some that are 3 x as much. They've probably all come over in massive containers from China
