At long last, blue sky and sunshine
and a lovely blue sea - although there was a very stiff Northerly breeze
Backing out off Lighthouse Pier
Looks so different with the sun out
Just in case you're thinking that the Herring Gulls have gone - No ! they're still up on the roof above our bedroom most mornings at around 5am - They also spend lots of time on next door's roof. No nest was ever built - think they must be an Odd couple !
Just going out of the front door when I noticed that my most dangerous plant is flowering - it's a very strange shape now and I really can't move it !
I wanted to go to The Range for several things including dog food, so, afterwards we drove over the level crossing and parked at Long Rock as the walk is nice and level.
Close-up of this part of The Castle and the lawns - and sadly the scaffolding
Golowan Festivities at the end of The Promenade
Looking super this morning
Wooster behaved beautifully both with other dogs and cyclists
Turned around and headed back - my knee is saying not soon enough ! !
The Penlee Lifeboat House and part of Mousehole
Gry Maritha coming back to Penzance past general cargo vessel Albiz
Looks like they're all ready for baling up
Afternoon walkies
No head height weeds here - and the path is nicely trodden down
Although a little cloud had gathered during the afternoon, it was back to lovely blue sky again
So pleased you have had a lovely day as well today, great to see clear blue sky, blue sea and some good fresh air. Hope you haven't over done it today Sue, but having some sunshine makes you feel better I'm sure. Looks like we are in for a very nice dry spell for the next week. Wooster looks like he's had a very good day. Thank you for the great photo's.
ReplyDeleteHmm ! knee has been complaining a bit this evening, but we didn't go far. Sunshine made such a difference to the feel of the day.
