Another glorious morning when Jim took Wooster out, but when I woke up at around 5am it was rather cold and misty, but the sun soon burned it all away
Morning trip for Mermaid II

Not sure who they were waving to - nice little boat
Marazion looking really busy
So pleased the beach is looking so good
It seems like you are having a good spell of weather right now. We have had very hot temps here in the nineties, so lurking indoors all day with the a/c on. Unfortunately my English friend was visiting and tea by the pool and dinner outside had to be abandoned because it is furnace-like, even in the shade.
ReplyDeleteI am getting ready to book my flight as the exterior of the cottage is scheduled for cob repairs and a new coat of mineral paint towards the end of September and into October. It is rather drawn out with a two week curing period in between, but I'm not complaining!
We've been having regular temps of 30c plus here - we're saved by some sea breezes, but it's really too hot to get the things done that need to be done. Forgot to open the windows in the pool house the other day and it had gone up to 47.5c - not that opening the windows makes much difference - sadly I still can't swim and couldn't anyway because the water is too hot - comical isn't it ! Do hope the cottage repairs go according to plan - we watched the cob one in the village as it was being renovated - skilled task. We're due to cool down a little tomorrow - hopefully it will be a little more comfortable for us all ! Sue
