Saturday

 Beautiful but cool morning
Usual walk up the hill

Harvey & Amanda out early this morning

Seems like this was the place to fish this morning - off Carn-du near Lamorna
We decided to go to park at the top end of Porthleven and walk into The Penrose  Estate - sadly not the usual circular walk as part fell into the sea last Winter and the new path is almost but not quite finished
The new path snaking it's way along the side of the fields - they still have to complete the fencing

The engine houses and chimney of the old Trewavas Mine
Always fascinated by this view of Porth en Alls House and some of the other Prussia Cove houses - with the top of The Castle on the top of the hill

Glimpses of The Loe

Helston
The description of all the work that is needed to be done to restore the circular path
We eventually arrived at The Stables Cafe, where we had a welcome sit down and coffee and cake
Noticed the good crop of Sweet Chestnuts on this tree
Baby Swallows
Waiting for lunch
Not sure if these were the same two or different ones

Poor tree has a tough life
Looking along the coast of The Lizard
The end of The Bar
Back along the super walk
Wooster always stands to check which way to go
Scillonian III  arriving back this afternoon
14,500 steps - the longest walk since my knee op. probably won't be going far tomorrow !
