Saturday

What a busy day ! Started with my 50 lengths, got ready to go out for a scrummy Afternoon Tea with proceeds being shared between the Church Bells and the Cornwall Air Ambulance, got home, fed Wooster and prepared for the "End of the Summer" celebration down on the beach. Off we went with a G&T & Pasty for Jim and Elderflower Tonic and Chicken roll for me. Wooster got lucky with a few good pickups of spillage, although they might have been a bit sandy ! Was getting rather chilly so we made our way home - only been home around 45 minutes when the phone rang and it was Nick to say he's injured himself at work and needed a lift to West Cornwall Hospital. Shoes back on and off I went to Asda Hayle to collect him. Fortunately there was no one else waiting and they soon checked him over and glued his head back together again. Got to take him back to collect his car later tomorrow. In the meantime I'm off to bed !
