Thursday - the last of our days out - need a rest !

Slightly different morning with some mist around first thing

Mermaid II off for some early fishing - possibly
Scillonian III just backing out

Always love to see this one

Morning greeting from Cassie
A lot of Merlin activity before we went out
I decided that I could manage the walk around the back to Kynance Cove

After such a dry Summer the colours were rather brown
Always love to see this view
Looking down to the cafe - where we were heading - sadly the easier route to get off the beach and up the long flight of steps was totally closed off as the buildings are owned by the Tregothnan Estate and have been condemned - as well as the little bridge
We went down and had a tea/coffee and decided that even if I could get to the steps I'd struggle to get up there so we set off back the way we had come
There were a couple of dogs on the beach on this side

Probably just as well we didn't go up there - although the cattle seemed very calm
Back to the car and then we drove to the car park at The Southerly Point
Gather there had been some seals etc.
We sat on the end for a while and had an ice cream and Wooster approved of the fact it was proper Cornish Ice Cream
Tide starting to cover the rocks as we walked back to the car
Had a visit from a Chinook when we got home - note the tailgate is down and the legs

Sunsets going to be tricky for a few days while it moved behind the trees
