Tuesday

 Glorious morning
Fisheries Protection vessel St Piran passing the two tankers
Scillonian III about to pass Marine Discoveries Shearwater II
Mount's Bay looking wonderful & we decided that we really ought to make the best of this super weather so off we went to Porthgwarra
The walk up the lane with lots of assorted Butterflies - Painted Lady
A very tatty Red Admiral
Speckled Wood
Up to the top of the lane and out onto the heathland
Just a few patches of colourful Heather
Wonderful sky today
Wolf Rock Lighthouse
Longships Lighthouse
The spot where we always turn - my favourite view
The reason why we turn here !

Looking over the tops of the cliffs to Land's End
Rather a good view of The Isles of Scilly - with Round Island Lighthouse to the right
Not very good shots, but great to see all these Seals hauled out
Wondered if these were pups as they are pale and small
Looking over to the NCI Station on the top of Gwennap Head

The alternative route to Gwennap Head - not for me !
Another tatty Red Admiral
Struggles to see what this one was - a really sad Peacock Butterfly
Lovely Painted Lady
Looking down Porthgwarra Cove
Wooster meets Fritz the Pointer !
The sand colouring the water

Gannets on their way home
I'd forgotten just how steep the walk is to the top
We'd already walked up this part !
The Seals from the top of Gwennap Head
Super view from up there
After all that walking - 12,000 steps and lots of ups and downs this had to be done
After almost being taken out on a narrow lane by a massive speeding potato lorry we eventually got to the Penzance Bypass
The setting sun

We're all tired - knee seems OK and we hope to be able to get out again tomorrow
